  • WELCOME!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page! I am a Springville, AL based photographer serving the Birmingham metro & surrounding areas. For as long as I can remember I have been in awe of the miracle of pregnancy and tiny new life. For this reason, I specialize in maternity, newborn, and children's photography. I love the glow of an expectant mom, the tiny little fingers and toes of a precious newborn, and the funny bubbly little toddlers they come to be. My goal is to capture both beautiful classic portraits as well as candid shots to show who your child really is. Remember, moments are fleeting, photographs are forever.
A little bit about me: I have two passions in life--ultrasound & photography. My "day job" is as a sonographer in an OB/GYN office. It's actually how I met most of my clients as I was beginning my business. I am a huge animal lover & I have quite possibly the cutest dog in the world. A 95lb Golden Retriever named Sasha who thinks she's a lap dog. She's the best :) I love to travel. My husband & I have been blessed enough to be able to do quite a bit of traveling in the last few years...so far we've been able to go to Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Turks & Caicos, Ireland, & various places in the states. It's been a blast & I wouldn't trade the memories & experiences we've had for the world. I am a prop junkie. Seriously...it's a problem. I can't pass up those super cute baby hats/headbands/etc. I need help. That's the first step right? Admitting it? I also love any excuse to hit up an antique store (again, usually to find a good prop). On any trip I make, I always am scanning for antique store signs. The junkier looking the store, the more likely I am to like it and find a good score. This has been known to irritate my husband on numerous occasions. And finally, there is nothing more important in my life than my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Without Him, none of this would be possible. I am blessed beyond measure!
Thanks so much for stopping by my page! Feel free to take a look around and please contact me with any questions you may have!

Baby R | 10 months | Trussville AL baby photographer

So glad to see Miss R back in the studio…I think this was my favorite session of ours to date.  She has the funniest little personality and she does the most hilarious little laugh!  She had us cracking up during her shoot.  Can’t wait to see her back in a couple months for her one year session!  :)

Baby J | 6 months | Springville AL / Moody AL baby photographer

So glad to see this sweet little guy back in the studio for his 6 month pics!  He is such a doll…I mean those big brown eyes will just melt you to a puddle.  He sure was NOT in the mood to have his pictures made, but seriously with all the pics I captured you would never know it.  He would go from irritated to happy in two seconds, then back to mad two seconds later haha.  The whole modeling thing is just way overrated, but seriously when you look like him you can do what you want:) I sure can’t wait to see him again soon!

Cute Cousins | Springville and Birmingham AL baby photographer

I was so excited to see these sweet boys back in the studio.  They are just going to have the best time growing up together…their moms are super sweet sisters, and since we were due for 3 month and 9 month (ok or 10 month) pics, we just went ahead & got them in on the same day.  We even got a group shot of them at the end which was…ummm…interesting lol.  That one will take a little more work in Photoshop:D Anyway, they are super cute & I can’t wait to see them again for their next milestone sessions!

Miss I turns one! | Pell City and Springville AL baby photographer

I seriously can’t get over the fact that this little miss is already one!  It seems like I was just doing her newborn pics the other day!!  I absolutely looooove getting to see these sweet babies growing up though…so fun to see the little personalities they end up having.  And speaking of personalities, my oh my does she have one.  Diva in the making!  A little dramatic thing, and it was so hilarious, mom would turn on Taylor Swift and the screams would immediately stop…before any singing started at all.  It was hilarious.  If only TS had the same effect on me…unfortunately it’s quite the opposite;)
