I loved meeting this sweet couple for a gorgeous fall maternity shoot. Knoxville has some great public parks and outdoor spaces that make the perfect backdrop for beautiful portraits. These two are actually from my home state, so it was fun that we had that in common. They are so sweet and are sure to make wonderful parents to the little girl coming soon! I can’t wait to meet her and take her newborn portraits!
I am offering HUGE savings from December 2016-March 2017. Book a full or deluxe newborn session and receive a FREE mini maternity session OR a FREE milestone session to use when baby is 3-12 months. The mini sessions are 20 minutes in studio and include 8 edited digital files via download (you may purchase additional images from the sessions, but not required). Email me to inquire! firstname.lastname@example.org or use the contact me button.
This sweet girl was a little older & more alert than most of the newborns I photograph, but I’ve really started loving the more alert shots. It’s definitely more of a challenge, which I always enjoy. She was so content & sweet, giving me the best eye contact. So glad her parents brought her in to see me…I could have photographed her & those big beautiful eyes all day!
Gah I can’t believe my adorable nephew will be 6 months tomorrow! He is the cutest little chunk ever & such a sweet little personality. My brother & SIL brought him up for a visit a few weeks ago & we were able to sneak away to the studio for a few updates shots of him. THE CUTENESS!
This is my absolute favorite time of year to shoot…the light, the colors, the scenery…I love everything about it! And I love everything about this sweet family. Lane is one of my best friends (and the woman behind the lens at http://www.laneweichmanphotography.com/). No pressure when shooting another photographer right?!?! Photographing a family with 3 children can be tough, but Lane wanted more of a lifestyle type shoot, not so much focused on posing, but just letting their interactions & love for each other shine. I have been in love with this style of photography for a long time, but it’s just not in my comfort zone so I don’t do it a ton…I think that needs to change! I’m so obsessed with these, and when I look back on photos of me and my family, it’s always the unscripted moments I love the most. I want my clients to look at their photos and remember everything about that stage in their life, everything about their littles that made them laugh (and maybe made them crazy). We all love the shot where everyone is looking and smiling, but the “real” shots just speak to me so much more. I think you can expect a lot more of this type of work to be showing up on the blog soon!
